જો તમને લાગે છે કે જ્યારે તમે કોઈ શંકાસ્પદ વેબસાઈટ પર જાઓ છો અથવા કંઈક ડાઉનલોડ કરો છો ત્યારે જ વાયરસ તમારા મોબાઈલ અથવા કમ્પ્યુટરમાં પ્રવેશ કરશે, તો તમે ખોટા છો. તમે ફાઇલ ખોલતાની સાથે જ તમારી સિસ્ટમમાં ડેન્ટ આવી શકે છે. હેકર્સે હવે PDF ફાઇલને લોકોના બેંક ખાતા ખાલી કરવા માટેનું હથિયાર બનાવી દીધું છે. સાયબર સિક્યોરિટી ફર્મ પાલો અલ્ટો નેટવર્ક્સને જાણવા મળ્યું છે કે હેકર્સ ઈ-મેલ દ્વારા પીડીએફ ફાઇલો મોકલીને માલવેર ઇન્સ્ટોલ કરી રહ્યાં છે. “અપડેટેડ સેલેરી” અને “invoice_AUG_4601582.pdf” નામની PDF ફાઇલોનો સૌથી વધુ ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે.

તેથી, જો તમને પણ આ નામો સાથે ઈ-મેલ દ્વારા કોઈ PDF મળે છે, તો તેને ભૂલથી પણ ખોલશો નહીં. જો તમે ભૂલથી પણ આ કામ કરી લીધું હોય તો તમારું બેંક ખાતું ખાલી થવામાં વધુ સમય નહીં લાગે.

પાલો અલ્ટો નેટવર્ક્સે તેના એક અહેવાલમાં જણાવ્યું છે કે હેકર્સ પીડીએફ ફાઇલને લોકપ્રિય નામ આપી રહ્યા છે જેથી રિસીવર તેને સુરક્ષિત મણિ લે અને તેને ખોલે. મોટાભાગના લોકો જાણતા નથી કે પીડીએફ ફાઇલો દ્વારા પણ સિસ્ટમ પર હુમલો કરી શકાય છે.

હેકર્સ આનો ફાયદો ઉઠાવી રહ્યા છે. પીડીએફ ફાઇલ એટેચમેન્ટ સાથે URL લિંક્સ અથવા બટનો પણ મોકલવામાં આવી રહ્યા છે. આના પર ક્લિક કરવાથી યુઝર્સ છેતરપિંડી કરવાના હેતુથી બનાવવામાં આવેલી વેબસાઇટ પર પહોંચી જાય છે.

રિપોર્ટમાં એ પણ જણાવવામાં આવ્યું છે કે હેકર્સ દ્વારા કયા લોકોને વધુ નિશાન બનાવવામાં આવી રહ્યા છે. રિપોર્ટ અનુસાર, જે લોકો પોર્નોગ્રાફિક વેબસાઇટ્સ અને નાણાકીય સેવાઓ પ્રદાન કરતી સાઇટ્સની મુલાકાત લે છે, જેમના ડોમેન્સ તાજેતરમાં નોંધાયેલા છે (Newly Registered Domains -NRDs), તેઓ હેકર્સના નિશાના પર છે.

આનું કારણ એ છે કે નવી નોંધાયેલ વેબસાઇટ્સનું સાયબર સુરક્ષા ઇન્ફ્રાસ્ટ્રક્ચર સ્થાપિત વેબસાઇટ્સની તુલનામાં નબળું છે. આ કારણોસર, આ વેબસાઇટ્સ ફિશિંગ, સોશિયલ એન્જિનિયરિંગ અથવા માલવેર ફેલાવવામાં વધુ મદદરૂપ છે.

હેકર્સને અત્યારે AI માં બહુ રસ નથી
આર્ટિફિશિયલ ઈન્ટેલિજન્સનો ઉપયોગ ઘણો વધી રહ્યો છે. પરંતુ, આશ્ચર્યજનક બાબત એ છે કે હેકર્સે તેમાં રસ જગાવ્યો નથી. પાલો અલ્ટો નેટવર્ક્સના રિપોર્ટ અનુસાર હેકર્સ દ્વારા AIનો ઉપયોગ ઓછા પ્રમાણમાં કરવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે. જો કે, ChatGPTની શરૂઆત અને તેના વધતા ઉપયોગ સાથે, સાયબર સુરક્ષા નિષ્ણાતોને લાગ્યું કે હેકર્સ તેનો દુરુપયોગ કરશે, પરંતુ અત્યાર સુધી આવું થયું નથી.

Speaking to DD after Budget 2023, FM Nirmala Sitharaman said, "Old  regime of taxation is complicated and the new regime will be helpful and benefit the people.
