Asian Games 2018: ઓપનિંગ સેરેમનીમાં નીરજ ચોપડાએ કરી ભારતીય દળની આગેવાની

ઇન્ડોનેશિયાના જકાર્તામાં ભવ્ય રંગારંગ ઉદ્ઘાટન સાથે 18માં એશિયન ગેમ્સની શરૂઆત થઈ ગઈ છે. ઇન્ડોનેશિયાના રાષ્ટ્રપતિ જોકો વિડોડોની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં રંગારંગ કાર્યક્રમ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. ઇન્ડોનેશિયાના રાષ્ટ્રપતિએ બાઈક પર બેસીને એન્ટ્રી કરી હતી. આ પછી બધા દેશોના ખેલાડીઓએ પરેડમાં ભાગ લીધો હતો. સૌથી પહેલા અફઘાનિસ્તાનના ખેલાડી આવ્યા હતા. ભારત તરફથી જેવલિન થ્રોઅર નીરજ ચોપડાએ તિરંગો હાથમાં લઈને પરેડની આગેવાની કરી હતી. ભારતની મહિલા ખેલાડીઓ પરંપરાગત સાડીના બદલે બ્લેઝર અને ટ્રાઉઝરમાં સેરેમનીમાં જોવા મળી હતી

જકાર્તાના ગિલોરા બંગ કાર્નો સ્ટેડિયમમાં યોજાયેલી ઓપનિંગ સેરેમનીમાં પ્રસિદ્ધ ઇન્ડોનેશિયાના ગાયક અંગીન સાથે રાયસા, તુલુસ, ઇદોફાતિન, કામસેને પ્રસ્તુતિ આપી હતી. યજમાન દેશના રાષ્ટ્રપતિએ ઉભા થઈને બધા દેશોના ખેલાડીઓનું સન્માન કર્યું હતું.
