1. આજથી 85 વર્ષ પહેલાં 1932માં ભારતીય એરફોર્સની સ્થાપના થઇ હતી. ભારતીય વાયુસેના સાથે જોડાયેલી કેટલીક જાણકારીઓ જે જાણીને તમે ગૌરવ અનુભવશો

2. ભારતીય વાયુસેનામાં આશરે 1.70 લાખ સક્રિય જવાન છે, અમેરિકા, રશિયા અને ચીન બાદ ભારત પાસે દુનિયાની ચોથી સૌથી મોટી સેના છે

3. 22 હજાર ફિટ પર સિયાચિનમાં હાજર એરબેઝ દુનિયાનું સૌથી ઉંચુ એરબેઝ છે.

4. ભારતીય વાયુસેનાનું આદ્રશ વાક્ય નભ: સ્પૃશં દીપ્તમ્ છે. જે ભગવદ્ ગીતાનાં 11માં અધ્યાયમાંથી લેવામાં આવ્યું છે. મહાભારતમાં તેનો ઉલ્લેખ ત્યારે થયો હતો જ્યારે શ્રીકૃષ્ણ અર્જુનને  તેમનું મહારૂપ દેખાડી રહ્યાં હતાં. 5. આખા ભારતમાં વાયુસેનાનાં 60 એરબેઝ છે. વેસ્ટર્ન એર કમાંડમાં સૌથી વધુ 16 એર બેઝ છે.
